Corei
Axcient BDR

Backup health that actually shows up where work happens.

Corei pulls device, appliance, and chain health from Axcient x360Recover and BDR. Real failures become triaged tickets. Noise gets silenced. QBRs ship with a DR scorecard already in the deck.

How it works

From alert to action to QBR — without a human in the middle.

  1. 01

    Connect

Drop in your Axcient API credentials. We pull your full device + appliance inventory and map to your existing Corei customers.

  2. 02

    Stream health

Backup states, chain integrity, replication lag, and protected size sync continuously — visible in dispatch and customer health.

  3. 03

    Triage failures

Real failures auto-create tickets with the right pod, priority, and runbook. Transient noise is suppressed by rule.

  4. 04

    QBR-ready

DR scorecards generate themselves: RPO/RTO posture, recoverability tests, top failures — ready for the customer deck.

Use cases

What MSP service and vCIO teams do with it.

Real failures, real tickets

Failed backups become triaged tickets with the right pod, SLA, and runbook — not noise in someone's inbox.

Suppress the obvious

Transient chain warnings, planned reboots, and known-flapping devices get suppressed by rule, not by hand.

Pre-propose appliance upgrades

Aging appliances and capacity trends roll into the customer's pre-proposal queue before the room runs out.

RPO/RTO posture per customer

Track and report on actual recovery point and time across the fleet — not the marketing number.

QBR DR scorecard auto-builds

Every QBR ships with a DR section: backup success rate, recoverability tests, and top issues. No copy-paste.

Recovery test cadence

Schedule and log recovery tests per agreement tier. Late tests show up in the dispatch board, not on a sticky note.

Corei · BDR

Ask Corei about backup posture.

Corei reads Axcient signals alongside tickets, agreements, and inventory — so answers are grounded across the full picture, with sources cited.

Example

"Which customers had >2 backup failures last month, and what's the appliance age trend?"

L

4 customers. Cobalt Tooling and Meridian Health are both running appliances past year 5 — I drafted pre-proposals for refresh and flagged them in the QBR queue.

FAQ

Common questions.

Which Axcient products do you support?

x360Recover (Direct-to-Cloud and Appliance), BDR, and Replibit. Endpoint backup is on the roadmap.

How fast does a failure become a ticket?

Polling cadence is configurable; default is 60 seconds. Most failures land in triage within 2 minutes including dedupe and routing.

Can we keep our existing alerting?

Yes. Run side-by-side during cutover. Suppression rules ensure you don't get duplicate tickets while you migrate.

Does this work with ConnectWise Manage tickets?

Yes — tickets created in Corei sync into ConnectWise with the right board, type, and member assignment via our PSA integration.

What about per-customer DR reporting?

Auto-generated QBR scorecard per customer: backup success rate, RPO/RTO, recovery tests, top failures, and appliance lifecycle.
